Sheri Hawkins
As the founder of 2balance, Sheri envisioned an organization that could open up communications for businesses. She understood that internal and external communications must go hand in hand to truly strengthen an organization in the current age of social media and consumer input. Sheri began her career in the fields of marketing and marketing research and evolved to spend most of her career working in public relations, business consultation and human resources. Facilitation of meetings, roundtables, negotiations and strategic planning have been a major area of focus for Sheri for the past 20 years. Sheri was one of the first women in Springfield, Missouri to negotiate a Teamster’s contract and was so effective in bringing all sides together that the company she represented obtained the longest term for a contract that had existed in the market. This led to Sheri training other companies in union negotiations and facilitating meetings prior to the actual negotiations to foster trust and cooperation between the company and the unions involved.
Sheri has worked for numerous national clients including Nestle Foodservice, Tyco and Tyson Foods and has experience with many different types of organizations including municipalities, non-profits, retail, foodservice, manufacturers and banking. Recent clients include: City of Independence, Brown Derby International Wine Center, Bancsource, Southwest Center for Independent Living, Harmony House, McClain Forest, and the John Morris Family.
